Jill AND Mary

Jillian Noel Shennessy, born 25th November, 1968 in Canada, is a Canadian performer and actress who was recognized for her significant contribution for American television. Her fame is due to her impressive performances on the American television series Law & Order where she captivated audiences for three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan in which she played protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy showed her talent in independent movies such as Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy started her acting career with her sister, playing twin call girls in Dead Ringers in 1988. Her Broadway debut was with Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Later, in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she was the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus. In the autumn of that year, she joined in the ensemble cast of the NBC sensational crime show Law & Order in the part of the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid.
