April Ross
April Ross, a beach volleyball star from the United States is part of a select category of females who have had medals won in multiple Olympics. Alix Klineman has become a brand new Olympian who will be joining her in Tokyo. Ross's aim is to get her first Olympic Gold. As she is 39, it may be her last shot. Nevertheless, she remains convinced of winning top awards. Ross, via NBC Boston, said that if the team plays very well, or even at all, it could be able to win gold. It's also going to be the result of luck. Ross was born on the 22, 1982, at Costa Mesa California. She resided in the area with her family. Along with participating in a variety of sports, Ross also attended Newport Harbor High School. In her time as a college athlete she played indoor track and volleyball. She clearly was the top player in indoor volleyball. As a time at the high school level as per her college profile, she played as a middle-blocker, outside-hitter and setter. Gatorade Circle of Champions named her the National Player 1999. In addition, she was awarded the 1999 Orange County Athlete of the Year trophy for volleyball. Ross Klineman and Ross may have begun working together at the beginning of 2017, but Ross was an experienced athlete at the beach prior to when they came together. It's true that she's won multiple big tournaments and one partner was a renowned volleyball player. Jennifer Kessy was her partner during six years from 2007 until the year 2013. She also worked with Klineman and herself. Ross, the teammate of Kessy's, who took home the title of world champion alongside Kessy in 2009, was also an important player on the international stage. This duo went into winning a silver in the 2012 Olympic Games at London. Misty Maytreanor (Jennings) and Misty Maytreanor took home gold overtaking them. The fate of the matter was that Ross turned out to be Walsh Jennings' new partner as May-Treanor stepped down. They both won bronze in beach volleyball at the Rio Olympics in 2016. Ross played for the USC Trojans in the college years following her graduation from the high school she attended. This was an impressive performance for Ross during her time at the school. She was a All-American as well as Pac-10 freshman of the year in the year 2000, a young freshman. The team also saw her help in helping the Trojans get to into the Final Four. The second season of her career she suffered a devastating personal tragedy, but was able to be named an All-American. In her last two seasons within the team, she guided the Trojans up to the summit of the mountain by winning two three consecutive championships at the national level. She was a great player on the court, and was awarded the Honda Sports Award in 2003-04 as the top female college volleyball player. Ross was a student at USC in International Relations. Margie Ross was never able to see her daughter achieve the heights in beach volleyball. Ross's mom passed away due to breast cancer when she was a sophomore in USC. She continues to hold her lost parent near and dear. Margie has inspired her both in her personal life and at the beach.
