Amy Smart has been a model, actress as well as a former American. Amy Smart, born and raised in California USA began her modelling in Italy. The beginning of her acting career came in 1996 when she starred in the TV film Her Costly Affair. After a difficult fight to get a part, she was offered a role in the 'Starship Troopers' series starring in Starship Troopers. It was at first was difficult for her to switch from modelling to acting. The reason is that most models don't have the ability to act. In the majority of cases, they're assigned small and insignificant roles. However, Amy did not give up and transitioned to larger roles, beginning with the TV series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. In 2005, Amy took on the lead role in the romantic comedy Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. Amy attained the fame she'd been seeking for nearly 10 years when her film just Friends debuted. Amy was later a star in major film projects including the Crank Series opposite Jason Statham, and Shameless.
